Joy has been singing for as long as she can remember. She comes from a long line of vocally-talented women and singing has always been a major part of her life. She’s collaborated with many artists and has been featured on albums. Joy’s experience includes being a choir director, singing on and leading praise teams, gospel choirs, solo performing, musical play tours, singing in R&B bands and she is currently in two gospel quartet groups.
Joy has classical training and graduated from what is now the Alexander Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach (formally Palm Beach County School of the Arts).
Joy enjoys all genres of music and loves to be able to inspire and encourage through her singing. She believes music is life and medicine for the soul and, upon a chance encounter with owner Roxy Miller, decided to join the Voicercise team to help other singers reach their goals and fulfill their dreams.
