New play kitchen in lower school!

The younger students were thrilled when they arrived to school this morning, as Ms. Celsey had ordered a new play kitchen with accessories and several fun, educational toys for the students! Ms. Celsey stayed until 7:30 last night building this amazing kitchen.

Field trip fun!

Mr. Kayden’s 4th/5th grade class took a field trip to purchase a book from Barnes and Noble and then headed to the beautiful Crest Lake Park! The kids enjoyed a Jimmy John’s picnic lunch at the park and lots of outdoor playtime.

Shout out to CLC Academy parents, Ekaterina & Dmitri, for donating tons of delicious food to today’s Thanksgiving luncheon! The kids and staff were so happy to have organic fruit, veggies, crackers, chips and more to add to their lunches. It was a lovely surprise! We appreciate your generosity.

Florida Aquarium field trip! (click for more pics)

The 2nd/3rd graders had a fabulous educational field trip to the Florida Aquarium! The kids enjoyed this multi-story, fun-filled wonderland that houses thousands of marine animals and plants. Thank you to parent chaperone, Camila, for joining and helping to supervise the students!
