In honor of Patriotic Week & as we celebrate America’s 250th Birthday, our students had the privilege of welcoming a group of veterans representing the U.S. Army, Navy, & Air Force! They shared what it means to serve our country, explained the unique roles of each military branch, & answered our kids’ questions. One of the highlights of the visit was a large model submarine, which gave students a fascinating look at how a submarine operates while the Navy veteran shared stories from his time serving. It was an unforgettable experience filled with learning, appreciation, & patriotism!
