Ms. Christina and the middle schoolers enjoyed their first educational field trip of the school year to the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport located on the north side of St. Petersburg – the birthplace of commercial air transportation! This airport is a 2,000-acre, fully-certified facility with two runways. It is home to the busiest Coast Guard Air Station in the world.
